The NOVA project continues its research and experimentation, applying innovative digital technologies to enhance access to culture and historical memory.
The NOVA project, promoted by Allix and funded through the Lombardy Region's Collabora & Innova programme, continues its research and development into new ways of experiencing cultural heritage.
Among the areas explored by the team is America 250, the initiative marking the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, celebrated on 4 July 2026. This international milestone highlighted the value of historical memory and first-hand accounts, and the importance of passing them on to new generations.
For NOVA, this work provided an important opportunity for experimentation: a setting in which to explore how digital technologies, multimedia content and interactive tools can help create more direct and engaging ways to access history and culture.
The project aims to go beyond traditional information tools by developing solutions that guide visitors through a personalised journey and create a more direct connection with artworks, places, documents and cultural content.
Through NOVA, Allix contributes its expertise in software development, the Internet of Things and immersive technologies to the design of a flexible digital ecosystem that can be applied across different cultural settings.
The work dedicated to America 250 forms part of a broader journey that began with DA Nola and is now evolving with ETRU. Each application area provides an opportunity to test new features, gather feedback and progressively refine the technological solution.
NOVA thus reaffirms Allix's commitment to putting innovation at the service of culture, turning technology into a tool that makes heritage more accessible, understandable and engaging.
